It has been 36 years since we first opened our doors in Singapore as an optometrist. From day one, our mission has remained unchanged: to provide affordable, high-quality, and thoughtful eye care services to everyone. Today, our humble optical store is still located at Teck Whye, but it has recently undergone a fresh, contemporary makeover.  

 

To celebrate our reopening and show our appreciation to both new and returning customers, we’re excited to launch our first-ever giveaway! Here’s your chance to win a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, as well as an $80 shopping voucher that you can use on your next visit to Chew’s Optics! Read on for instructions on how to join the contest.

Step 1: Follow us on Instagram 

The first step to qualifying is to head over to our Instagram page and follow us @chewoptics. 

 

Step 2: Snap and share a photo of the new Chew’s Optics store 

Drop by our newly renovated store at 144 Teck Whye Lane, #01-211. We’re open every day except Mondays and Fridays. Once you’re there, make sure to take a photo of our new store, and share your photo on your Instagram Stories or Instagram feed.  

 

Step 3: Increase your chances of winning 

Want to increase your chances of winning? Post your photo on both your Instagram feed and Instagram Stories for an extra chance to take home our giveaway prizes.  

 

You can also earn an extra chance to win by getting creative with your photo! Capture the vibe of our new store at Teck Whye, showcase our new interiors or your favourite frames, or share a selfie of yourself at Chew’s Optics. These are just a few examples of the kind of photos you can take. The more creative and fun your photo is, the better your chances of winning!  

 

Step 4: Make your Instagram post public and tag us 

Before you press publish, don’t forget to make your Instagram post public so that we can see your submissions! Tag us @chewoptics in your post, and include the hashtag #ChewsOpticsMakeover.

This Instagram contest is open to Singapore residents only, and will run from now till 31 December 2024. Contest entries are accepted only via Instagram. One lucky winner will receive the following prizes: 

• A pair of Ray-Ban 2206D sunglasses with transparent grey frames  

• S$80 store voucher that can be used at Chew’s Optics 

 

The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items. We will announce the winner on our Instagram page after the contest ends.
